Inspired by L S Lowry: A Permanent Collection of Creativity Boosters

An Artist’s Date with L S Lowry
Today I have a little something for you that was sparked in part by a recent Artist’s Date at the fabulous Lowry Exhibition in Salford Quays.
(The above is a visual souvenir, to virtually transport you to this oasis of creative serenity.)
Inspired by my visit, I’ve been curating my own version of a Permanent Collection.
A little while ago I shared a selection of sample extracts from my own body of work, and I’ve now created a permanent home for this growing collection of snippets and tasters for the entire suite of courses over on Creative Well.
My hope is that whenever you next feel the need for a creative boost or an inspired nugget to guide you in the right direction, you can pay a virtual visit to my Free Sample Permanent Collection.
It may not quite be the Lowry experience, but it is open all hours. 🙂
And I’d love for it to provide you with an uplifting dose of creative solace, insight or fire – whatever you most need to support your wonderful work.
I’d love to see you over there!
Wishing you a week of creative happiness and soul-soothing delights,
Danielle
PS If you’re not familiar with the term Artist’s Date, it’s an idea from the ever-inspiring Julia Cameron and her legendary The Artist’s Way course designed to help creative people stay in touch with the creativity that is so important to us.
And if you’re new to Julia Cameron and her insightful work, I highly recommend her creative memoir, Floor Sample – you can read a short review of that here.
“I don’t care tuppence for what they do in London in the art world.
It doesn’t matter to me. I don’t think of it.
All I am concerned with is doing my own thing in my own way.. as well as I can.”
