From anxiety to calm

Today I have a personal story to share with you, one that I hope will be the start of a new lighter, brighter and happier creative journey. ✨


Back in 2021…

I had a health condition that left me with increased levels of anxiety.

You may recall that 2021 was not a great year to be dealing with high anxiety levels!

The good news is that, after a devoted mission to restore my previous inner calm, I tracked and tested a range of different approaches.

Ever the scientist/seeker, I devoured books and audiobooks on the topic, I scoured the internet for experts and wisdom, and given my commitment to holistic wellness, I was on a mission to discover any possible natural remedies.

Whenever I found methods, tools or practices that looked promising, I experimented with them in my own life.

And after a few months of trial-&-error…

I found a way back to calm. 💖

This experience taught me a few things;

#1: It’s possible to reduce anxiety using simple, natural techniques.

#2: Restoring inner calm is like living in full colour again.

#3: Clearing inner angst automagically clears the way for the flow of ideas, vitality and good fortune.

All the things that matter – health, happiness, purpose and visions – seem to fall into place more easily, all by themselves, the less we worry and fret.

Spiritual writer, Deepak Chopra, cites anxiety as one of the greatest blocks to our success, and I can believe it.

From my experience and research, I learned that we are different people when we have less anxiety – we’re braver, bolder, kinder and more in tune with life’s magic. 💫

With less worry, we take more action steps towards our dreams, in a potent spirit of confidence that allows us to enjoy the process of bringing our visions to life.

Good things happen when we live a life less anxious.

Yet, one of the most impactful things I learned from my journey was just how many people are feeling the stress of the modern world, and living with constant low-level, or even extreme anxiety on a daily basis.

So, naturally, I became very keen to get all the insights I discovered into the hands of anyone who could benefit from them.

I shared the 11 habits and practices that I’d found to be the most effective in clearing fears, doubts and worries. ✨

I don’t know whether you personally have had to deal with anxiety issues, but I’ve learned that it can be a particular challenge for creatives and entrepreneurs.

I’ve not shared my Anxiety Story until now, as I prefer not to dwell on past problems, but the stark statistics about just how prevalent anxiety is today prompted me to do more.
